Using data to tell stories about the wellbeing of older Australians

The IWOA provides insights into the drivers of wellbeing for older Australians. The Index maps out how older people are faring across five key domains – participation; education; health; housing; and resources and wealth – giving us insights into what strengthens and weakens wellbeing for this group.

How to use the map

The maps not only show how older Australians in your community are faring on the index, they also allow analysis of local factors contributing to these outcomes, by showing the relative impact of each wellbeing domain and indicators.
